Design Philosophy
I prefer to create articles that are beautiful and functional. Whenever possible, I create the item with no seams. Seams often are an area where yarn breaks or the overall fabric may stretch or shrink more than the seam area.
I also see patterns as a starting point, not as an absolute rule. I almost always rework a pattern that is worked in pieces that are sewn together into a seamless version. I will also change the direction that parts are worked from top-down to bottom-up or vise-versa.
